Payroll Lead

To support the payroll operations of a growing organization, the full-time Payroll Lead will manage day-to-day payroll activities, ensure compliance and accuracy for multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Lead payroll administration and coordinate the payroll function, focusing on process improvement and compliance Oversee payroll transactions, ensuring timely processing in accordance with state and federal regulations Audit pay records and address employee inquiries regarding payroll and expense reports efficiently Required qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree required; higher degree in accounting preferred 7+ years of payroll service experience, preferably with ADP or similar systems Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and payroll compliance Practical experience with payroll and ERP systems such as Workday or NetSuite Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
