Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.OverviewAcute/ED/Wound Care or Rehab experience preferredPOSITION SUMMARY: The RN Wound/Enterostomy implements and evaluates the activities for total patient care, following outlined protocols, in the delivery of acute and chronic wound care, enterostomy care, and hyperbaric treatments. Will demonstrate competency in and be responsible for treating various types of patients seen including critically ill and chronically ill patients, ranging in age from pediatric to geriatric. Performs various educational activities, including infection control, aseptic dressing technique, and preventive care. Educates patient, significant other and/or caretaker, including a return demonstration within the Medical Center and community. Area of focus may be inpatient or outpatient.QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Associate's Degree in NursingExperience: 2 years of nursing experienceLicensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse LicenseOther skills/ knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: Experience with HyperbaricsLicensure/ Certification: Wound Care certification or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, ACLS certificationOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
