As a Security Officer Screening Control in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at the location.
Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the facility in accordance with post orders and security-related screening procedures.
Verify identification, credentials, manifests, and/or delivery information before allowing access to restricted or controlled areas.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Monitor entry points and surrounding areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and document screening results, incidents, and/or daily activity as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
