Electrical Engineer I (Onsite)

Hardware Electrical Engineering Position

This role requires an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities include designing RF, digital, power, and analog circuits, VHDL design, integration and testing of electronic hardware, operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment, analyzing, modeling, and simulating electronic designs, troubleshooting hardware and process issues, resolution of issues on production lines and in testing, component selection for electronic designs, layout and routing support of printed circuit boards, and providing factory, field, production, and supplier support domestically and internationally.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related STEM major, and experience with RF, microwave, analog, digital electronics, mixed signal, circuit design or analysis, power electronics, VHDL, FPGA, electrical components, digital signal processing, or PCB design.

Preferred qualifications include a 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET accredited institution, digital, RF, analog, and/or power electronics coursework, lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment, technical working knowledge of electronic components, knowledge of electro-optical subsystems, experience developing applications for GPU using CUDA or OpenCL, and experience in root-cause corrective action investigations and FRACAS processes.
