Contract | Days | 4x10, 0700–1730 | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with Electrophysiology procedures including device implantations and ablations, demonstrating proficiency in scrubbing EP cases
• Manipulate angiography equipment including digital angiographic systems; select and evaluate exposure factors and process digital images
• Assist the surgeon or radiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, applying sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care for cardiovascular patients as needed
• Collaborate effectively with Radiology staff, OR staff, surgeons, and interventional radiologists across a wide range of interventional procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and supplies involved in special procedures and perform routine departmental duties when not performing EP procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• BLS certification from AHA only
• Minimum 1 year of EP Lab experience
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 through April 1
• Must wear surgical scrubs as provided by the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from AHA only
• Proficiency with digital angiography equipment, interventional equipment, PACS, and computers
• Experience working within an EPIC EMR environment
