About the Role: We are seeking a polished and client-focused Sales Associate to join our Palisades Village boutique. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury shopping experience, building lasting client relationships, driving sales, and supporting the daily operations of the boutique. Responsibilities Welcome and engage clients in a manner consistent with our boutique’s luxury standard. Create memorable, highly personalized experiences that foster long-term client relationships and brand loyalty. Anticipate client needs and provide thoughtful recommendations for gifting, milestones, and personal collections. Follow up with clients in a timely and meaningful manner, delivering white-glove service before, during, and after each purchase. Develop expert knowledge of Jennifer Meyer collections, materials, gemstones, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling. Achieve and exceed sales goals while contributing to overall boutique performance. Assist clients with purchases, special orders, repairs, and custom requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor in accordance with brand standards. Support inventory management, stock organization, and inventory accuracy using the Lightspeed POS and inventory management system. Process transactions accurately and follow all operational, security, and loss prevention procedures. Support store events, promotions, and other business initiatives. Work collaboratively to maintain an elevated and welcoming boutique environment. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of luxury retail experience; fine jewelry experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to deliver elevated, relationship-driven service and cultivate a loyal client base. Proven success achieving sales goals and building long-term client relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence. Naturally warm, proactive, and solutions-oriented with exceptional follow-through. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, polished presence. Passion for fine jewelry, luxury retail, and client service. Experience with POS and inventory management systems; Lightspeed preferred. GIA certification or gemological training is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move throughout the boutique for extended periods. Ability to lift and move merchandise and supplies up to 40 pounds.
