Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | 10-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume Operating Room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Support a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neuro cases
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including the DaVinci Robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump
• Participate in assigned end-of-shift short call coverage (weekday) and occasional Friday/Saturday overnight call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), averaging approximately 1–2 overnights every 6 weeks
• Document patient care accurately using the Altera EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including RNs, Surgical Technologists, and Unlicensed Assistants

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular, urology, and neuro procedures
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to participate in on-call assignments including weekday stay-late call and occasional overnight weekend call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro surgical experience strongly preferred, particularly for call coverage support
• Familiarity with Altera EMR or comparable perioperative documentation systems
• Experience working in a high-acuity, multi-specialty OR environment
