Key Responsibilities Oversee quality control staff, including hiring, training, assigning tasks, and performance evaluations. Supervise metrology and calibration functions to ensure compliance and accuracy. Address technical questions, assist with inspections, and support regulatory compliance. Support production inspection needs including first piece inspections, in-process and final inspections as well as supplier certification compliance Support the ISO 9001:2015 quality control program; update procedures and specifications as needed. Review contracts for quality provisions and ensure proper internal and supplier flow-down. Maintain organized workspaces and observe all health and safety protocols. Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned. Continual improvement of the quality inspection process. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Excellent communication skills with the ability to write technical documents and interface with internal and external stakeholders Proficient in blueprint reading and basic knowledge of hand tool usage such as verniers, micrometers, height gages, etc. Ability to conduct various inspections preferred.
