High School Science Teacher
IFS - Islamic Foundation School
The High School STEM Instructor is responsible for delivering rigorous, engaging, and standards-aligned instruction across a specialized curriculum including Calculus, Physics, and Economics. The instructor will cultivate advanced mathematical reasoning, scientific inquiry, and analytical problem-solving skills, preparing students for success in college-level STEM pathways and beyond. The ideal candidate fosters a structured yet intellectually stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, precision, and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities :Mathematics Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in AP Pre-Calculus and Calculus (limits, derivatives, integrals, and applications) .Physics Instruction: Teach AP Physics C, covering Mechanics, Electricity, and Magnetism. Instruct the Honors Physics Dual Credit course .Economics Instruction: Facilitate a Microeconomics course, incorporating real-world applications and interdisciplinary connections .Curriculum Development: Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and College Board frameworks .Exam Preparation: Prepare students for AP Calculus and AP Physics C exams .Assessment & Differentiation: Utilize formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs .Integration: Incorporate real-world applications and interdisciplinary connections (e.g., engineering, technology, and social sciences) #J-18808-Ljbffr
