Senior Desktop Support Technician

Job TitleCandidate must be a current Wisconsin resident. No relocation allowed. This role is mostly remote within the State of Wisconsin but may require coming into the central office on a monthly basis for implementations, meetings, etc.Required Skills and Experience:Tier 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardware (5+ Years)Support and maintenance of Operating Systems for user workstations (5+ Years)Peripheral device support (printers/scanner/etc) and maintenance (2-5 Years)Incident and Service Request Management (5+ Years)Technical assistance on projects as assigned by Desktop Support Supervisor (2-5 Years)Strong written and oral customer support correspondence experience (5+ Years)Preferred Skills and Experience:Packaging software applications for mass deployment using management tool (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.)Patch ManagementImaging experience using management tool (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.)Learning management system (LMS) support experienceGoogle Workspace experienceMicrosoft's Group Policy Object (GPO) experienceResponsibilities:The primary responsibilities are to support, test, maintain and install in the following areas: workstation hardware, software, Operating System (OS) currency and support, application certification, and software distribution/update methodsCollaborate with a team of 10 technicians and 1 project manager on a daily basisAssist on tier 2/3 desktop support Incidents and RequestsAssist with projects to implement new hardware and/or software working with our business partnersSupport an organization of 10,000 + end points and users across the clientTier 3 support and maintenance of workstation software and hardwareSupport and maintenance of Operating Systems for user workstationsPeripheral device support (printers/scanner/etc) and maintenanceIncident and Service Request ManagementTechnical assistance on projects as assigned by Desktop Support Supervisor**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
