Nanny By Design is expanding its caregiver team and is looking for experienced, dependable childcare professionals who are interested in flexible part-time assignments throughout the Triad area, including Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding communities.

Caregivers may support local families with recurring part-time childcare, backup care, special events, and group-care programs. Assignments can vary based on family needs and caregiver availability.

Position Details

• Pay: $16 per hour
• Guaranteed hours
• Mileage reimbursement
• Approximately 10–30 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling
• Minimum commitment: 4 shifts per month
• Location: Triad area
• Travel: Throughout the Triad region as needed

Care Opportunities

Part-Time Nanny / Babysitter

Provide childcare for local families on an as-needed basis. Assignments may include regular part-time care, occasional babysitting, special events, and group-care programs.

Backup Care Nanny

Provide temporary childcare when a family's regular childcare arrangement is unavailable. Backup assignments may be offered with shorter notice and may require travel to surrounding Triad communities.

Backup care shifts are typically 8–12 hours and primarily take place on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive, and dependable childcare
• Follow family routines and instructions
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities
• Supervise children and maintain a safe environment
• Provide childcare during special events and group programs
• Adapt to different family routines and childcare settings
• Accept assignments that fit your availability
• Travel to assignment locations throughout the Triad as needed
• Communicate professionally with families and Nanny By Design

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Ability to provide 3 childcare-related references
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete a background check
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Triad region
• Dependable and professional
• Comfortable working with different families and childcare environments
