TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: GA or compact license in hand Certifications: CCRN preferred Must-Have: Requires PA lines. Experience with presurgical patients. No local travelers accepted. Description: This is a 12-bed, 24-hour observation unit utilized by the heart/vascular service line. Patients on this unit will consist of low acuity critical care patients awaiting placement in ICU or stepdown units. No ventilators, CRRT, or Impellas will be accepted to this unit. The unit will accommodate LVADs, 2-4 drips, arterial lines, and PA catheters. This unit will also serve as an observation area for patients who may need to be monitored post-procedure but plan to be discharged home if all goes well. It will be a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patient turnover and a wide variety of diagnoses. Working in this environment will develop organizational skills and critical thinking. This role offers an opportunity to enhance critical care skills and fine-tune assessment abilities. A rhythm identification test will be required once you start. You will have two chances to complete the test, which is not multiple choice.
