Growing togetherThe Medical Assistant supports providers by delivering high quality, patient centered clinical care in a service center setting. This role assists with provider orders, patient intake, vital signs, and clinical procedures while ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards. The Medical Assistant works collaboratively as part of the care team to support efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.Primary Responsibilities:Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergiesAssist providers with examinations, treatments, injections, and clinical procedures as directedPrepare patients for visits, support pre visit and follow up care, and coordinate preventive care activitiesEducate patients on basic self care, procedures, and follow up instructions using clear, understandable languageMaintain and prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies; ensure proper functioning of clinical equipmentSupport patient safety initiatives and comply with infection control, HIPAA, and scope of practice guidelinesUtilize electronic health records (EHR/EMR) and scheduling systems to document care accurately and timelyCommunicate effectively with providers, care team members, and patients regarding clinical needs and concernsParticipate in emergency and crisis response procedures as requiredRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent BLS certification at time of hire or within 30 days of hire1+ years of Medical Assistant experienceKnowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical proceduresIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to travel locally about 25% to various clinics as assignedDriver's License and access to reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or equivalent)Experience working in a clinical or ambulatory care settingFamiliarity with electronic medical record systemsCore CompetenciesPatient care and care coordinationClinical documentation and complianceCommunication and teamworkTime management and organizationAdaptability in a fast paced healthcare environmentValues & BehaviorsActs with integrity and complies with applicable laws and policiesDemonstrates compassion and a strong focus on patient experienceCollaborates effectively and communicates clearly with diverse teamsSupports innovation and adapts to changeDelivers high quality, detail oriented work with sound judgmentPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
