Expected Pay Range: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on performance.

Automotive sales experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic.

Position Summary

The Sales Consultant is responsible for helping customers select and purchase new and pre-owned vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience from the initial conversation through delivery and beyond.

Successful Sales Consultants at Canton Ford are expected to build relationships, develop repeat and referral business, maintain consistent follow-up, understand our products, and represent the dealership professionally in every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and establish a professional, comfortable buying experience
• Identify customer wants, needs, budget, and vehicle preferences
• Assist customers in selecting new and pre-owned vehicles
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Maintain strong knowledge of Ford vehicles, technology, features, and available programs
• Present vehicle options clearly and professionally
• Follow the Canton Ford sales process from initial contact through vehicle delivery
• Follow up with internet leads, phone opportunities, and showroom customers
• Maintain consistent communication with unsold prospects
• Build repeat and referral business through outstanding customer service
• Utilize the dealership CRM to document customer activity and follow-up
• Respond to leads quickly and professionally
• Complete required Ford product and sales training
• Maintain contact with customers after the sale
• Ask satisfied customers for referrals and reviews
• Work with Sales Management and the Finance Department to provide a smooth purchasing experience
• Represent Canton Ford professionally both inside and outside the dealership

Automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.

No Automotive Sales Experience? That's Okay.

Some of the best sales professionals come from outside the automotive industry.
