Accounts Payable Specialist

Extension is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative for a contract opportunity with one of our nonprofit clients in Milwaukee, WI. About Our Client Well-established nonprofit organization with a strong community impact Supportive leadership team and collaborative work environment Convenient downtown Milwaukee location Key Responsibilities Review, process, and enter invoices into the accounts payable system Manage incoming mail, vendor invoices, and payment documentation Process weekly accounts payable check runs and distribute payments Respond to vendor and internal staff inquiries regarding payment status Set up new vendors, maintain records, and collect required documentation Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and additional accounting projects Support general mail distribution and administrative tasks as needed Desired Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required High school diploma or GED required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Professional written and verbal communication skills Experience working with accounting software preferred Salary Information $22/hour We're looking forward to connecting with you and helping you take the next step in your accounting career! #J-18808-Ljbffr Extension, Inc
