The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.Product Manager, CMI | Lake Forest, ILThe Product Manager will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of Abbott's CMI business by leading market research initiatives and transforming complex data into actionable business insights. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting market, customer, and competitive intelligence to support the development and optimization of the global product portfolio. The Product Manager will serve as a key advocate for data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytical rigor to influence both strategic and tactical business decisions. Working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, finance, and leadership teams, this individual will help identify growth opportunities, challenge assumptions, and drive initiatives that strengthen market position and business performance.What You’ll Work OnEnsure compliance with Corporate and Division Purchasing, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) and other applicable policies and proceduresLead the development and execution of Primary Market Research among relevant stakeholders to identify unmet customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging trends.Leverage Secondary Market Research on trends and market dynamics to inform product and vendor strategies and decisions.
