The Role: As a Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 110 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.

What You Will Need:

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

What We Offer:

• Compensation & Benefits: $35-$40 per hour; the final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on education, experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role.
• Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Additional Compensation: $1,000 bonus after first-year anniversary Commissions and variable incentives based on performance.

Requirements:

• Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 due to job-related responsibilities.
• Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification as required.
