Location : Grand Prairie, TX


Duration: 6 months contract with potential extension


Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship required (Ability to obtain security clearance)


Shift: 4/10 schedule. Every Friday off.


Pay : $65.00/hr - $83.00/hr on W2!

Job Description:

This Mechanical Engineer role merges HVAC design, system commissioning, and Building Management System (BMS) controls. You will deliver comprehensive engineering packages-from calculating initial cooling/heating loads to programming sequences of operation and validating final system performance.

Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Basic Qualifications:


1) Bachelor's Degree (in Mechanical Engineering)


2) 5+ years experience in Mechanical Engineer role merges HVAC design


3) 5+ years experience in Building Management System (BMS)


4) Experience delivering comprehensive engineering packages-from calculating initial cooling/heating loads to programming sequences of operation and validating final system performance.
