Store Manager - Zales - South Park Mall

Position Summary Reporting to the District Manager (DM), the Store Manager (SM) will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a single store to achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory control, brand representation, and team member growth and development to maximize the results of the store. Responsibilities Lead the store team, communicate performance expectations, and coach staff to foster a people‑first environment that promotes diversity and inclusion. Drive an exceptional customer experience through mandatory training, outreach, and accountability for resolving issues within established parameters. Develop sales strategies to meet projections, analyze reports, identify trends, and implement initiatives to improve performance and customer satisfaction. Maintain inventory accuracy, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness to represent the brand and meet corporate standards. Collaborate with other Signet managers to share resources, best practices, and support shared objectives. Oversee employee experience, from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing coaching and development in operations, sales techniques, product knowledge, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, brand guidelines, and legal regulations. Qualifications Education: Minimum of 2 years of college (preferred). Retail Experience: At least 3 years of retail sales experience, OR 2 years of retail sales experience plus at least 1 year of retail management experience. Preference for candidates with specialty retail or jewelry experience. Certifications: Preference for Diamond Council of America (DCA) certified candidates. Skills: Advanced communication (written and verbal), strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business tools. Presentation and training abilities to deliver effective team member training and customer presentations. Organizational and administrative skills: Plan and prioritize tasks, delegate, and meet deadlines. Language: Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Demands Require standing, reaching, and moving between display cases; ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds. Must sit, stoop, bend, kneel or crouch as needed. Visual acuity is required to discern differences in gemstone quality. Standard workweek includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours. Travel to training sessions and business meetings, including air travel and overnight travel, may be required.
