Clinical Practice

Practice community Emergency Medicine with the resources of an established hospital environment and the familiarity of Epic .

The department provides 24/7 emergency care with access to hospital and diagnostic resources. This opportunity is focused on direct Emergency Medicine practice rather than inpatient rounding or supervisory responsibilities.

The underlying VMS requisition reports:

• Emergency Medicine physician coverage
• Epic EMR
• No rounding requirement
• No required APP supervision
• No routine admissions responsibility specified

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certification required
• Emergency Medicine or qualifying Family Medicine background consistent with client requirements
• ACLS
• ATLS
• BLS
• PALS
• Ability to obtain required hospital privileges
• Appropriate state licensure/eligibility and credentialing
• Availability for approximately 6–12 shifts per month
