Purchasing Agent

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for executing purchasing activities in a timely and cost-effective manner to support operational needs. This role primarily partners with Realization teams to ensure materials and services are delivered to projects and job sites on time and within budget. The Purchasing Agent collaborates with vendors and drives sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and cost optimization initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead sourcing activities, including financial and analytical evaluation of suppliers and proposals. Negotiate supplier contracts, including pricing and commercial terms, in alignment with business and market requirements. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and supply chain strategies to improve net working capital. Develop and maintain knowledge of supplier capabilities, cost structures, and market conditions, including regional and geopolitical considerations. Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system. Monitor supplier performance against key metrics, including on-time delivery, quality, and reliability. Support operations in resolving supplier-related issues, including capacity, delivery, and performance concerns. Prepare and present supplier performance and purchasing data to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve and standardize purchasing processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Perform additional duties as assigned.
