responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Managing daily accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and statutory reporting.
• Month-End Close: Leading the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Compliance & Controls: Maintaining and strengthening internal controls (SOX compliance where applicable) and coordinating external audits.
• Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and developing a small team of staff accountants or specialists.
• Strategic Analysis: Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.

 
qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with mid-to-large tier ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Credentials: CPA certification or progress toward a CPA is highly preferred by many of our partners.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
