Radiologic Technologist in Gastonia, NC

Opportunity available for a skilled Radiology/X-ray Technologist in a dynamic neurosurgery and neurology outpatient clinic environment. This role centers on providing quality imaging services, collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team, and working with a diverse patient population-including adults and pediatrics-requiring spine, head, and injection imaging.


Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No weekends, on-call, or holiday coverage required
• Minimal floating, with extremely rare coverage at nearby campuses

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, including with spine and head diagnostics (some procedures can be taught if needed)
• Experience utilizing both C-arm and standard X-ray equipment
• Comfortable in a fast-paced clinic setting with high patient volumes
• Willingness to assist with ancillary tasks such as CD creation and light administrative duties
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR and PACS systems (Intellaspace preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders for both adult and pediatric patients
• Support the injection suite, assisting with room prep and limited imaging guidance (no sedation or anesthesia required)
• Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, other technologists, front desk, and medical providers to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within hospital systems
• Uphold departmental protocols for safety, infection control, and confidentiality
