About the Role As a Litigating Attorney at Lee, Gober & Reyna, you will handle personal injury claims from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. Duties include: Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly. Work with case paralegal to draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents. Take depositions. Examine case evidence and prepare for mediation, hearings, depositions, and trial. Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate. Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation. Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system. Requirements First Chair trial experience Licensed to practice law in Texas and possess valid Texas Bar Card Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent legal research, writing and oral argument capabilities. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Provide an exceptional client experience with strong sensitivity and empathy. The ideal candidate enjoys handling a variety of injury cases beyond motor vehicle accidents. Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required.
