Personal Injury Attorney
A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated advocate who is passionate about helping injured individuals obtain the compensation and justice they deserve.
The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator, confident litigator, and compassionate counselor who can effectively manage cases from intake through resolution. You'll work alongside a collaborative legal team that is committed to delivering exceptional client service and achieving outstanding results.
What You'll Do
- Manage a personal injury caseload from pre-litigation through settlement or trial
- Conduct case evaluations and develop winning legal strategies
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance throughout the legal process
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement demands
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to build strong cases
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances
- Prepare cases for trial and serve as lead or supporting trial counsel when necessary
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the applicable state bar
- Proven experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters
- Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation, civil procedure, and insurance claims
- Experience with case management from intake through resolution
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Trial experience or significant litigation experience
- Demonstrated success securing favorable settlements and verdicts
- Experience handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, or related matters
- Established ability to independently manage a caseload
