With a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and tailored solutions, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Typist Clerk to join our dedicated team. This is a Full-Time position based at our facility in Venice, Illinois, United States. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our administrative efficiency and supporting our daily operations.

Salary: $45 - $60 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Typist Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth running of our office. Key responsibilities include:

• Typing, formatting, and proofreading a wide range of documents, including correspondence, reports, invoices, and quotations.
• Accurately entering data into company databases and spreadsheets, maintaining up-to-date records of customer orders, supplier information, and project details.
• Organising and maintaining an efficient filing system for both physical and digital documents.
• Handling general office duties such as answering telephones, directing calls, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Providing administrative support to management and other departments as required.
• Assisting with the preparation of project documentation and client communications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. Essential qualifications and skills include:

• Proven experience as a Typist, Office Clerk, Data Entry Operator, or in a similar administrative role.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent command of the English language, with strong grammar and punctuation skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
• A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Experience within a manufacturing or craft-based industry is desirable but not essential.
