Regional Director, National Relationship GroupThe Regional Director, National Relationship Group is responsible for business development and relationship management of both new and existing clients. They will lead all sales-related activities as well as organize efforts of client service team members to effectively address the needs of Advisors in the territory.To be successful, the Regional Director must have a foundational knowledge of investments, capital markets and asset allocation theory. The ability to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides is critical to working with and influencing Advisors. Just as important, the Regional Director must have a solid business development and client service orientation and understand the issues and setbacks Advisors face in building a client-centric, fee-based business.Responsibilities:Sales leadership and management of a territory composed primarily of independent and national broker dealer advisors.Develop new advisor relationships, while retaining and deepening existing advisor relationships.Act as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.Present Dimensional Fund Advisors' investment capabilities, investment theory and performance to financial advisors in both one-to-many and one-to-one sales environments.Formulate and execute tailored territory strategy and champion existing company initiatives.Be a team-player and sales thought leader within the Dimensional team.Be a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry.Grow net cash flows and AUM from broker-dealer clients within the territory through the adoption and retention of Dimensional's investment strategies.Desirable experience and traits:Extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry.Bachelor's Degree required; MBA, CFA or CFP preferred. Also, Series 24 is a plus as there can be potential to manage Client Service Members in the future.A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy and business strategy.Demonstrated track-record of building Advisor relationships and growing a territory.Extensive knowledge and network of RIA Financial Advisors who may share a similar investment philosophy to Dimensional or with enough intellectual curiosity to want to learn more about it.An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.Ability to present Dimensional's products and philosophy to small and large groups.Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the teamResults-oriented but highly collaborativeAbility to work successfully in teams as well as operate on your own meritSIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required and must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employmentThis role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.#LI-HybridDimensional offers a variety of programs to help take care of you, your family, and your career, including comprehensive benefits, educational initiatives, and special celebrations of our history, culture, and growth.It is the policy of the Company to provide equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
