Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Inpatient Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts with weekends as needed. No call required. Schedule flexibility is essential.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting, with a focus on adult ICU and general pediatric experience. No NICU or PICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy procedures, medications, and equipment management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to respiratory therapies.
• Document all relevant patient care information clearly and accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient experience as an RRT.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS required.
• Must hold an active RRT license; CRT certification will not be accepted.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
