Shift: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2D, Doppler, color flow, 3D, strain, and contrast studies.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Stress echo skills and interventional procedures. - IV management training.

Unit Details: - Performs TTE, TEE, stress echo, Dobutamine stress echo, nuclear cardiology, and tilt-table studies. - Patient population includes heart failure and cardiac diagnostics, chemotherapy evaluations, and renal transplant evaluations. - Uses Encompass, Philips ISCV for echo reporting, Philips and GE echo systems, and GE CASE in the stress lab. - Fast-paced academic lab with a balance of portable and in-lab studies.

Shift & Scheduling: - Monday through Thursday schedule. - Weekend rotation dependent on unit needs. - Holiday requirements dependent on unit needs. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - May float to satellite sites managed within the Wake Region; echo tech only.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS, CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
