Cardiac Diagnostics, advanced – TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo studies,
Chemotherapy Evaluations
Transplant Evaluations
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
ACLS (preferred)

RN: BLS; ACLS (required)
Cardiac Sonographer : BLS; RCS, RDCS, ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI) – only (1) of these is required
Cardiac Tech: BLS; CCT (Certified Cardiac Tech through CCI) preferred
Exercise Physiologist (EP) Tech: BLS

~ Skills required:

~ TTE/Stress Echo

~ Required:

TTE complete with color and doppler
Ultrasound Enhancement Agents (UEA – Definity/Optison)
Advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo including, but not limited to:

• LV Global Strain
• 3D

~ HOCM

• Agitated Saline Contrast studies
• Preferred: Stress echo and Dobutamine Stress echo studies

~ Dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Educator and Chief Sonographer

~ Technology/Equipment:

EMR: EPIC

• Floating: If yes, where?
• Yes, satellite sites managed within Wake Region
