Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Responsibilities You will compile statistical status and other supply/transportation information to validate and ensure performance is being met You will utilize retrieved data to respond to customers, program review and vendor inquiries You will a thorough knowledge of supply and transportation regulations and policies to perform continuing assignments You will have knowledge of governing supply/transportation regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in order to complete assigned work You will develop and maintain lists of supply users Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a thorough knowledge of supply and transportation regulation and policy to perform assignments, prepare recurring, special reports , and compiling statistics from data. Experience may include the following : 1.Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement.2.Demonstrates skill in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the Internet.3.Conveys written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
