Cloud Infrastructure Security Architect

Salary: $140,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• We need experience designing and architecting serverless web applications with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• We need experience building backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for AWS workloads and databases.
• We need proficiency with AWS CLI, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
• We need experience optimizing Redshift, RDS, EC2 instances, and Application Load Balancers.
• We need experience with cloud network architecture, including VPN tunnels, VPC peering, and multi-account VPC setups.
• We need experience working with and maintaining S3, EBS, EFS, SES, and SQS.
• We need experience using automation tools such as Lambda and CloudFormation to deploy organization-wide policies and security controls.
• We need experience designing AWS networking configurations using VPC solutions, security groups, RAM, Direct Connect, and site-to-site VPN.
• We need experience with SIEM tools such as Sumo Logic.
• We need a solid understanding of core AWS cloud architecture principles.
• We need an AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
• We need experience migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.
• We need proven ability to design and implement secure cloud solutions in public, private, or hybrid environments.
• We need a strong grasp of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• We need deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption, identity and access management, and network security.
• We need at least 3 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls and related security controls.

• We oversee monitoring, maintenance, and configuration of AWS-based systems and infrastructure that support strategic initiatives.
• We collaborate with industry leaders to build new systems, maintain existing platforms, and follow established operating standards.
• We manage applications, keep documentation current, and implement standard operating procedures.
• We support Linux and Windows environments in AWS, including Amazon Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows Server.
• We help install, configure, automate, upgrade, and remediate tools and applications such as Sumo Logic, Tenable, Nagios, Trend, ServiceNow, Palo Alto, and VMware.
• We strengthen cloud security by implementing configuration changes and remediation actions.
• We evaluate emerging technologies and work with vendors and internal IT partners to resolve issues effectively.
• We mentor and train other engineers, sharing architecture best practices and promoting a strong problem-solving approach.
• We create and review firewall rules, troubleshoot firewall issues, and participate in peer reviews of firewall changes.
• We manage our AWS Organization of more than 100 sub-accounts using custom automation, Directory Services, IAM policies, AWS SSO, and SCPs.
• We administer multiple domains through Active Directory, Group Policy, and scheduled tasks.
• We secure connectivity using Palo Alto and ASA firewalls, including access list changes and site-to-site VPN implementations.
• We maintain connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments through site-to-site VPN and Direct Connect.
• We oversee cross-account connectivity between network segments.
• We develop and implement cloud security policies, procedures, and controls to reduce risk and support compliance.
