Acute Staff Nurse - Med / Surg

MLR is proud to partner with a respected healthcare system in South Carolina to recruit a skilled Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for their Medical/Surgical unit. This full-time, day-shift position offers a meaningful opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Patient Care: Conduct assessments, administer medications, manage wound care, and track patient progress.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement customized care plans.
Patient Education: Guide patients and families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Patient Safety: Promote patient safety through effective communication with patients and their families.
Support Unit Operations: Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within the unit.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
