We are located in Glasgow, DE, and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $8 billion in annual sales.Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirementsAbility to utilize electrical test equipment and ability to isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipmentServices electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards and similar electronic devicesIdentifies equipment and material needs for projects, and reads and interprets blueprints and schematicsCoordinates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/ManagersAssist (as required) in the training & skill up grading of other maintenance personnel, as well as production associates (machine operators) etc.Must continually demonstrate proficiency in the job skill level of this position in accordance with the requirements of the job descriptionParticipates in all plant emergencies as required and maintains any certification/training as deemed necessary or required by management in order to be able to respond to any specific plant emergenciesComplete thorough repairs and proactively initiate work orders based on preventive maintenance (PM) or predictive maintenance (PdM) findings.Maximize equipment reliability by efficiently executing work orders and PM tasks.Accurately document activities, resources, and completion codes.Analyze reports to recommend improvements for asset operability, reliability, and safety.Request necessary repair parts as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems used on production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and control systems used on production equipment.Monitor and perform basic repairs on building support equipment (Air Compressors, HVAC systems, lighting, water usage, fire/life/safety etc.).Assist all departments (R&D, Engineering, Front Office and Lab) with mechanical functions.Respond to all building related security/safety issues.Requirements:High School diploma or GEDMinimum of 10-15 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Familiarity with CMMS software such as MaintainX, Fiix, Maximo, or similar (preferred but not required).Welding and fabrication experience are a plus.Willingness to work in a team environment.Ability to work independently.Ability to read and speak English.Detail oriented with good analytical & troubleshooting skills.Willingness to receive any additional training required.Able to learn the duties described above, as well as other jobs in the facility as required.Manual dexterity & ability to lift 50 lbs.Able to be flexible in work assignments within job description & flexible to shift requirements.Safety and Quality consciousBasic computer skills PC and softwareExperience with pneumatics, PLC's, and general electrical knowledgeAbility to climb ladders.Ability to operate high reach.Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license and operate forklift safely.Able to be on call (part time) to address maintenance issues within 2 hours when maintenance personnel are not scheduled to be onsite.Comprehensive Benefit Package offered from Day 1 of employment, including: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision & Prescription), Group Life and AD&D Insurance, Voluntary Group Insurance (Life, AD&D, LTD), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401(k) Plan, Pension Plan, Paid Vacation, Paid Company Holidays.Graver Technologies is a Marmon Water / Berkshire Hathaway Company.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
