As our Roxboro operation continues to expand, we are looking for Assembly Supervisors who enjoy developing people, solving problems, and helping teams achieve more than they thought possible.
This role is responsible for the daily leadership of an assembly department or shift, including safety, quality, productivity, attendance, training, employee development, and team culture.

As an Assembly Supervisor, you will spend your time coaching employees, setting clear expectations, monitoring team performance, solving problems, and helping employees build confidence in their work.
You will provide employees with both support and accountability while creating an environment where people can do their best work.
Where You Will Make an Impact- Lead an assembly team toward safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals
- Conduct shift startup meetings and communicate daily priorities
- Assign employees based on production needs, training levels, and department priorities
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees through regular conversations and feedback
- Identify employees with leadership potential and help prepare them for future opportunities
- Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable with fairness and consistency
- Monitor safety, quality, production, attendance, staffing, and employee performance
- Respond to production concerns and work with the team to identify the root cause
- Recognize strong performance and celebrate team accomplishments
- Address performance, behavior, attendance, and workplace concerns appropriately
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, documentation, attendance, and performance matters
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, and other departments to resolve issues
- Support new employee onboarding, training, and early retention
- Complete clear shift handoffs and communicate outstanding needs to the next shift
- Help create a workplace where employees feel respected, informed, and supported
You understand that successful leadership requires both strong relationships and clear accountability.
You are comfortable having difficult conversations, but you also take the time to understand what may be affecting an employee before making assumptions.
You communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and lead by example. You are willing to step in when the team needs support while continuing to hold employees responsible for meeting expectations.
Successful candidates will bring:
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or similar environment
- Experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, Area Leader, Trainer, Crew Leader, Lead Operator, or informal leader
- The ability to coach employees and address performance concerns respectfully
- An understanding of safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and production goals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to review performance information and respond when results are not meeting expectations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- The ability to partner effectively with Human Resources and support departments
- Reliability, consistency, and a strong sense of personal accountability
- Flexibility to support production needs beyond scheduled shift hours
Previous formal supervisory experience is preferred, but candidates with strong frontline leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
This leadership role requires flexibility beyond scheduled shift hours. Managers are expected to support shift startup activities, shift handoffs, leadership communication, employee needs, and changing operational priorities.
Overtime is an expected part of this role, including current Saturday production schedules.
