Operations Admin II-1

Responsible for performing the clerical and administrative functions for any or all hub and station operational areas, including linehaul, quality assurance, and customer service. Tends to damaged and incorrectly addressed packages in a timely manner to optimize delivery time. Serves as a customer’s first line of contact for a variety of issues. Essential Functions Provide clerical support to various management and operational functions, including photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, and answering telephone calls. Review, research and/or enter data in various systems to support the functional area. Compile data and provide regular and adhoc reports to management for review. Serve as frontline customer service to receive, resolve, and/or escalated customer inquiries and issues. Assist management with Business Control Self Assessment audit activity by retrieving data and/or files for review. Perform address searches and corrections to mitigate loss and damage and ensure packages are in good condition for the customer. Prioritize workflow to maximize the number of packages that can be resolved and sent out for delivery in the same day. Ensure all packages receive appropriate scan statuses and inspect hazardous material damages as per policy. Research missing packages to identify root causes of scanning failures and compile information on disputed deliveries. Review and trend loss and damaged claims to identify improperly charged claims. Enter all Independent Contractor settlement information into the appropriate system and perform settlement adjustments as directed by management. Compile required documentation to establish and maintain Department of Transportation required files, and verify timely log entry into system. Enter individual vehicle mileage record information into the system and work with ICs and Linehaul staff to rectify any issues. Track metrics such as the IC charge back program, complaints, and maintenance compliance, and prepare weekly reports for management review. Serve as initial contact for IC inquiries or issues relating to settlement, uniforms, decals, etc., routing them to management for resolution. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Two (2) years of customer service, clerical or related experience required. Experience in dock operations or distribution center setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General business skills such as typing, data entry, and use of phone, copier, and fax. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web‑based applications. Customer service skills to respond professionally and effectively. Time management, organizational and multi‑tasking skills to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Compensation and Hours Part‑time position – Sunday through Thursday, 3 AM to 9 AM. Hourly pay: $17.84 – $24.89 USD. Location The desired location for this position is Lewisberry, PA.
