This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned promptly and efficiently to support the smooth operation of our culinary team. Key Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling materials. Monitor dishwashing supplies and report any inventory needs to the supervisor. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient cleaning during peak hours. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety. Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager. Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is advantageous Familiarity with standard kitchen safety and sanitation procedures Required Skills and Abilities Ability to operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
