Supports the identification and application of statistical techniques based on requirements.Applies suitable technique under direction from leadership.Assists in the planning, design and implementation of exploratory data analysis research projects.Data Source IdentificationSupports the understanding of the priority order of requirements and service level agreements.Helps identify the most suitable source for data that is fit for purpose.Performs initial data quality checks on extracted data.Data VisualizationGenerates appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes.Work alongside business customers to capture requirements and design appropriate data representation for multiple data sets.Data StrategyUnderstands, articulates, and applies principles of the defined strategy to routine business problems that involve a single function.Process ManagementMonitors operational performance utilizing analytics tools & techniques in support of continuous improvement.Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to identify losses and implement countermeasures.Data Quality ManagementSets up data quality processes to ensure analytical and optimization processes generate the right output.Be able to assess whether issues in optimization are due to faulty dataYou can show one or more of the belowYou have proven working experience of optimizationYou have a passion for learning how to work with new languages and data and analytical setupsYou have good knowledge of scripting languages like SQL and PythonYou have proven working experience of using Big Query, including table designYou have good knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau and Power BIYou have technical proficiency regarding data management and automationA passion to find patterns in data and identify business opportunity areasYou show attention to detail and can catch patterns in data earlier than other folksYou have built exception reporting (using outlier detection or other analytical techniques) and connected processesYou can present insights from data in the form of a good storyYou love working with other stakeholders to drive process improvements based on data analysis and optimizationNice to Haves/Preferred Qualifications:Minimum three years’ experience designing and deploying optimization solutions within the Blue YonderTMS Minimum three years’ experience delivering advanced analytics and solution recommendations leveraging BY Transportation ModelerDemonstrated ability to assess complex network design issues, develop, & recommend solutions to leadership across a multifunctional leadership teamDemonstrated ability to utilize (SQL) to manipulate large data sets and present information in a format that drives adoption of new solutions within the organizationDemonstrated ability to work independently and with teams to deliver results in a fast and results driven environmentMinimum Qualifications...Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
