Registered Nurse PACU Recovery Room

Heart Hospital of Austin seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU/Recovery Room to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to cardiovascular patients. The RN will assess, monitor, and stabilize patients recovering from surgery and interventional procedures, manage complex cardiac drips and airways, and respond rapidly to changes in condition. Responsibilities include medication administration, pain and sedation management, patient and family education, and accurate documentation. The nurse will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams in a technologically advanced, patient-first environment that supports professional growth.
