Registered Nurse PACU Recovery Room

Heart Hospital of Austin seeks a Registered Nurse for our PACU Recovery Room. The RN provides specialized post-anesthesia care to cardiovascular patients, including continuous assessment, hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring, pain and sedation management, airway support, and rapid response to changes in condition. Responsibilities include medication administration, care coordination with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and cardiology teams, patient and family education, and thorough documentation. The role supports a culture of safety, evidence-based practice, and continuous learning in a collaborative, patient-first environment.
