Venturi is looking for an energetic, highly motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our fast-growing team here in New York. You don't need a proven track record in recruitment to succeed here. We are looking for potential, resilience, and a hunger to learn. Through our world-leading, in-house training program, we will teach you how to run a successful "360-degree" recruitment desk, build a network, and become a consultative partner to both clients and candidates in the technology sector. What You Will Be Doing Learning the Ropes: Participating in our structured classroom and on the job training to master the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. Candidate Generation: Sourcing top-tier technology professionals using our well-established database, LinkedIn Recruiter, and state-of-the-art technology. Business Development: Learning how to map markets, identify new business opportunities, and confidently pitch Venturi’s services to potential clients. Relationship Building: Developing consultative, long-term relationships with both candidates and clients, eventually hosting and attending industry events. Collaboration: Working closely with experienced consultants and networking internally to cross-sell solutions across the wider business. Who You Are Driven and Resilient: You have a strong work ethic, a competitive edge, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks. A Natural Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable speaking with professionals at all levels. Commercially Minded: You have an interest in business, sales, or the technology sector (prior B2B sales or customer-facing experience is a bonus, but not essential). Collaborative: You thrive in a team environment and are eager to learn from the experienced professionals around you.
