Position Overview Bauer Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain physical movement and enhance their overall functionality. Spanning 5,000 square feet, our center is equipped with advanced sports medicine technologies and resources. Work Environment This full-time position operates on an onsite basis, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. You will be working in a dynamic environment, interacting with diverse patients and addressing their rehabilitation needs comprehensively. Key Responsibilities Assess and understand patients’ goals and needs through thorough evaluations to create tailor-made treatment plans. Maintain an efficient schedule, attending to a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention throughout each session. Utilize evidence-based practices to provide high-quality interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities. Develop and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for a variety of patients. Minimize medication reliance by introducing non-surgical alternatives and effective treatment strategies that promote natural healing. Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor patients' progress, and modify care plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs. Effectively document all patient interactions and interventions in accordance with facility policies and utilizing EMR software such as WebPT. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, partnering with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, celebrating milestones and encouraging adherence to prescribed exercise routines. Patient Population / Client Focus The Bauer Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic outpatient care. Our diverse patient population encompasses individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions requiring comprehensive rehabilitation strategies. We are committed to delivering patient-centered care aimed at facilitating swift and effective recovery. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. A valid California Physical Therapist license with no board or disciplinary actions on record. Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to develop effective and individualized exercise prescriptions. Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT. Preferred Experience Prior experience within an orthopedic outpatient care setting is highly desirable, enabling a seamless integration into our team. Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centric care with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions. Experience in developing wellness programs to promote long-term rehabilitation success. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
