Manufacturing Technician Production

We are now looking for a Manufacturing Technician in the Johns Creek area for a premier Contact Lens Manufacturer. This is a wonderful opportunity for any one with great manufacturing experience! This is a medical device company with FDA regulations, you will be making a product that can improve someones life! This a temp to hire opportunity!

salary: $23 - $25 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for handling complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring quality. 

• Handle complex technical tasks to support operations
• Manage resoures and schedules to meet specifications
• Move and pack raw materials
• Maintain accurate records
• Monitor output and quality
• Make minor descisions - good problem solving abilities
• Commit to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
• Good oral/written communication skills needed
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail needed

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working weekends
