Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license in Georgia Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - BLS certification - Current RN license Description: Please note that the patient ratios are estimations based on the unit and not guarantees. General Information: Number of Beds: 40 Patient Ratios: 1:7 Unit staffing description: 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 UC per shift. Type of equipment: Regular medical equipment for med-surg unit. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends. Floating policy: Contract labor is the first to float to like units. Patient Experience requirements: 1+ years. Unit Specifics: Advanced skills needed: None. Procedures performed on unit: EKGs, Glucose checks, Venipuncture. Dress Code: Required uniform is royal blue top and bottom. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines. Awards/Recognition: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options. General Comments: This facility has a well-known burn center and other services that help patients regain their mobility quickly and safely.
