VP, Portfolio Manager

Job Overview Target salary range: $135,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. Eligible for an annual discretionary cash bonus (target 10%) and an annual discretionary restricted stock unit (RSU) bonus (target 10%) that may be awarded semi‑annually based on performance goals and targets. Responsibilities Manage a diverse portfolio of non‑real‑estate lender finance clients, including specialty finance companies, consumer lending platforms, and other non‑bank financial institutions. Ensure timely and accurate risk monitoring, covenant compliance, and performance reporting. Conduct in‑depth credit analysis and stress testing on underlying collateral and borrower performance. Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies. Manage a team of analysts and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Allocate resources effectively to meet portfolio objectives and deadlines. Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding portfolio performance and risk‑related matters. Cultivate long‑term client relationships and identify product cross‑sell opportunities. Collaborate with credit, underwriting, and syndication teams to support new transactions and amendments. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal credit policies, and audit standards. Prepare and present portfolio reviews to senior management and risk committees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; formal credit training preferred. 10+ years in commercial lending, structured finance, or portfolio management, with a focus on non‑real‑estate lender finance. Proven experience managing complex portfolios. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and capital markets.
