Project Manager I

Overview Locations: Maiden, NC and/or Charlotte, NC | Hybrid / On-site as needed Pay: $60.00- $70.00 per hour DOE We are seeking a Project Manager I to oversee projects in electric transmission, substation, and line design/builds connecting data center customers. This role provides single-point accountability under general guidance of a senior PM, managing all phases of project planning and execution. Projects may include low to moderate risk portfolios, requiring leadership across scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, communications, and integration. Responsibilities Manage assigned projects from planning through execution, ensuring project success factors are met. Lead, guide, and coordinate project teams while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from team members to executive leadership. Identify and mitigate project risks; enforce safety and compliance standards. Support project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of project management experience. Associate degree (or equivalent) in relevant field. Working knowledge of project management principles, risk management, decision making, and critical thinking. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within project teams. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Utility industry experience, including electric transmission/substation projects. Professional certifications (PMP, CAPM, CMII) or technical utility certifications. Knowledge of project scheduling and cost controls. #J-18808-Ljbffr HKA Enterprises
