Diesel Technician to Mobile Service Truck

Location-Buffalo NY

Monday-Friday NO Weekends

8:00a-4:30p Eight-hour shift

Pay Range $30-$45/hour Pay is based on experience

This isn’t a forever shop position; it’s a path to independence. You’ll start in the shop, learn how we operate, and earn your way into a fully equipped take home service truck. You’ll begin working on fleet vehicles making real diagnosis, learning about our systems, customers and workflow. Later, when you’re ready, you will transition into a mobile/road service position.

We are a family-owned business that has grown from a three-person shop in 1997 to the area’s most respected service and repair facility with 26 lifts and 36 bays in over 30,000 sf. We work on light, medium and heavy-duty diesels and gasoline vehicles. Diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles, trailers and equipment with complex issues, including electrical and hydraulic.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

· Six years of experience as a technician, diesel and gasoline

· Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently

· Valid drivers license, with clean driving record (CDL a plus)

· NYS Inspection license (a plus)

· ASE certified (a plus)

· Be detail oriented and passionate about the work performed

· Possess the ability to work independently

· Understand safety protocols and regulations governing vehicles

· Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and perform tasks

· Document work performed, parts used and observations on service orders

· Maintain the company’s service truck, conducting pre/post trip instructions
