Journeyman Electrician – $50/hr + $178/Day Per Diem

Looking for a high-paying electrical opportunity with plenty of overtime? We're hiring Journeyman Electricians for a long-term commercial/industrial project. This is a great opportunity for licensed electricians looking for steady work, strong earnings, and a path to future projects.

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
• Run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical equipment
• Install switchgear, panels, transformers, and service equipment
• Perform testing, commissioning, and startup activities
• Support system energization and project turnover
• Follow safety procedures and electrical codes
• Complete documentation and work records

• Active Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
• Experience with conduit, wire installation, and troubleshooting
• Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance

• Data center experience
• Medium-voltage experience
• Switchgear and transformer installation
• Commissioning and startup experience
• OSHA certification

• $50/hr
• $178/day per diem, 7 days/week
• 65-70 hours per week available
• Long-term project with additional work after completion

This is a Contract position based out of Fairfax, IA.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
