Process Engineer

What You'll Do
- Provide expert technical service by monitoring and optimizing unit operations to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
- Collaborate with the team to evaluate and implement improvements in production processes.
- Conduct tests to assess operating changes and report findings to enhance product quality and capacity.
- Participate actively in preparing annual budgets and conducting economic studies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory programs and provide technical support for safety and environmental issues.
- Design and document efficient chemical processes for new and improved products.
- Supervise and train technicians, while ensuring a safe and environmentally sound working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in a chemical or petroleum manufacturing setting.
- Experience with distillation processes is desired, though other chemical process engineering experience will be considered.
- Strong ability to work effectively across cultural lines, particularly within Japanese American contexts.
- A competitive base salary of up to $110,000, depending on experience.
- Generous sign-on and annual bonuses (8-12%).
