Critical Care Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Practice Provider (APP)The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be an integral member of the Surgical and Anesthesia Intensive Care Unit (SAICU) critical care team, working closely with attending physicians, residents, and the current physician assistant to provide high-quality care to critically ill surgical patients. Responsibilities include participating in daily multidisciplinary rounds, coordinating specialty consultations, maintaining communication with surgical teams, and assisting residents with order placement, procedures, and patient disposition. The APP also supports resident and medical student education by providing orientation and teaching during ICU rotations.
